Dead Sailor Hand (Detail)

This is the outer forearm portion of the sleeve. We decided that part of the story behind the sleeve should be that the strong-willed female climbed to safety while one of the other sailors was not so lucky...his dead hand clutches at the air while his blood (from the sharks eating him) starts to stain the water red....fun times.
