the road of life

An old friend came to me about his first tattoo, and after over a decade of being on the road supporting bands, whether he was tour managing, guitar or drum tech, stage hand, merch guy he has done it all. For years. And still continues.... he struggles with finding his own path in life, and constently wanting to leave the road, but when he does it doesnt last long, another offer with a band he loves would come along and he travels the world again. To me, not a bad gig... to him it has its ups and downs. THough if anyone would understand it would be me... this was a fun piece to work on, and now he is not the only un-tattooed guy on warped tour this summer hahaha.... cheers LJ !!
